Helping Hands Moving and Maids proactively implemented the following procedures:
ENHANCED CLEANING PROTOCOLS:
To ensure the safety of both our customers and employees, we have implemented increased cleaning measures at all of our office locations and within the interior of our moving trucks. All trucks and offices are now equipped with disinfectant wipes or sprays. Our focus is on thoroughly cleaning high-touch surfaces with an antimicrobial disinfectant from the EPA’s list of COVID-19-fighting products. Key areas include door handles, steering wheels, phones, work surfaces, bathrooms, and common areas.
PRE-MOVE CUSTOMER WELLNESS CHECK:
Prior to the arrival of our moving team, the Helping Hands Moving and Maids Scheduling Team will reach out to our customers to confirm if anyone in the household feels unwell or has had potential exposure to COVID-19. If necessary, we are happy to reschedule the move to minimize any risks and ensure the safety of our customers and crew.
PRE-MOVE TEAM MEMBER WELLNESS CHECK:
To keep everyone safe, we’ve placed COVID-19 symptom information in our offices to increase awareness among our team. Any crew member feeling unwell or who suspects possible exposure to COVID-19 will remain at home and notify our scheduling team. Upon arrival at our facility, each team member will undergo a temperature screening and will be provided with the necessary cleaning and sanitation supplies to disinfect trucks and equipment before use.
PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING:
When our team arrives at your home or office, we will be following strict social distancing guidelines, maintaining a 6-foot distance between our movers and customers. While we have always valued a personal handshake, for safety reasons, we kindly ask that we refrain from physical contact during this time. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize health and safety.
ENHANCED AIR CIRCULATION:
To help further protect everyone involved, we kindly ask customers to open exterior doors and windows when possible during residential moves. This will improve ventilation and increase airflow in the space, reducing potential risks to our movers and cleaners.
